Pro drag racing for street cars?

Is their a pro drag racing league for street cars?

There is prize money to be won but it’s hardly enough to pay expenses let alone live on so I wouldn’t call it “pro”. The total prize money for every race over the entire NHRA season is less than the winners check in a single NASCAR race. There are quite a few people who do make a living at it but the money comes from endorsement contracts, not prize money.
