What You Can Do With Concert Backstage Passes
A concert backstage pass is one which grants access to different areas of a specific concert. There are backstage passes available for all kinds of concerts such as a theatre performance, a fashion show, a film festival or a music show. These are usually desired by fans of the performer or one of the performers of the concerning show or concert.
These can come with many kinds of formats, two of which are laminated, generally card-shaped designed to hang around the neck and with the type of the card written over it (rarely with photo identification) and wristbands (the colour showing the type of access permitted).
How many types are available?
There may be various types of backstage passes available. However, only four are common. These are: – an all-access pass, a crew pass, a VIP pass, and a Press Pass. All-access passes provide the highest exposure possible to the performer; including pre-performance and post-performance parties, the backstage and all.
The crew passes, for crew members only, also cover all or most of the area. The press pass may have various restrictions depending on the organizers. And a VIP pass is one which gives a VIP the permission to enter and enjoy the areas which are not restricted by the organizers.
Where to find one?
Free concert backstage passes may be available from various sources. The performing individual or the group, the hosts, the organizers, the show managers, the press or the radio partner covering the concert all can provide you with these passes, which are primarily used to promote the concert or to grow the popularity.
What is the right way to behave?
Attending a backstage party has various ethics and codes to be maintained. Failing to do these or misbehave and you may be thrown out of the gate by the guards. Probably the first one is to dress nicely and talk intelligently. It’s unnecessary and often disturbing talking like an ass-kisser because artists usually know that they are great. It is also important not to feel hysterical or overzealous.
Showing restraints on your part is typically important, too. While it is only natural for you to be a little excited seeing your dream person right in front of you, it helps to put on a show as if you respect their boundaries. Getting drunk is never a good idea and this is no exception. Also it would be better if you do not eat all the foods served.
What are the advantages?
If you are too crazy about a performer (or a star), you undoubtedly cherish the vision to be with him/them. These passes may be a way to shooting photo, hanging out with the person you admire so much. You may even have a chance to get to know who the actual person is, under all the glamour.
