Double Action Revolver?
Hi,
I am looking to buy a medium frame double action revolver for my mom. I want something affordable (like to keep it under $500), and I would like a .357 so we can train with .38s and then load it up with .357s for home defense.
So basically an affordable medium frame .357 double action revolver. Really LOVE the Rugers, but they might be a little pricey. The only others I have looked are made by Taurus (which I don’t know too much about).

Ruger makes the best revolvers. If you can’t find a used one cheap enough, you can always try a Taurus. I have a Taurus 38 and love it. But there is no doubt the Rugers are rated better. Smith & Wesson is just outrageous for what you get.
